Labour TENS Obstetric TENS TENS TENS hire tens hire nz TENS machine TENS NZ TENS rental tenshire

I am just wanting to share a bit of my birth story and how the TENS machine got me through labour and birth of my baby girl Harper.   I went into labour around 11am on Sunday 13th March and began walking around the house unsure if it was contractions or not.. decided it was as they were getting stronger. I was quite nervous to start using the TENS machine because I wasn’t sure how it was going to feel. I was unable to get it ready myself so my partner had a quick read of the instructions (he’s dyslexic but...

If you’re reading this you’re most likely in your third trimester, and first of all we just want to let you know you are doing an incredible job and so is your body. Secondly, if you're ready to give perineal massage a go but you’re not quite sure where to start, don’t worry we’ve got you mama! A great time to begin is around or after 34 weeks. Natasha shares her birth experience with TENS

When considering my birth preferences, I wanted to have a natural labour without medical intervention, unless medically required. My midwife recommended TENS to me and I must admit I was sceptical at first, wondering if it would be worthwhile. I went on the Natal Care website and read the reviews from other families and decided to give it a go, given the minimal investment required.  The machine arrived promptly with clear instructions and a seamless returns process. The instructions and reviews indicated the earlier the TENS is used, the better. So, when my waters broke, my partner promptly helped me...

Frieda shares her very 'looooong' birth story...

Here's my very looooong birth-story and how the TENS machine helped me with pain relief. I was due on 29 September 2021 and fast approaching 40 weeks of pregnancy when my midwife offered me a stretch and sweep, which I decided to take. To her surprise she informed me that I was already 3cm dilated. This made me feel so happy and empowered, knowing that my body is already starting with the process.  A few days passed and I reached 40 weeks and 1 day, 2days and still nothing. I was feeling a bit discouraged and trying everything to naturally...

A beautiful home birth

A beautiful home birth

I have a two-year-old daughter who I birthed using pain relief in hospital but without TENS machine (I had not heard about its benefits). During my recent pregnancy, a friend of mine recommended I hire a TENS machine to use during labour. Two weeks ago, I birthed a beautiful 10lbs baby girl! The birth started at 2am and from my first contraction I used the TENS machine. I managed a beautiful home birth with no medical pain relief at all. I kept the TENS machine on all time, and boosted it during every contraction. What a difference it made! Not...
