Terms & Conditions

Safe Use

  1. Labour TENS units must only be used according to the instructions provided. Customers are responsible for fully testing the unit upon receipt, reading the instructions and ensuring the unit is used correctly and safely.
  2. While many women find TENS helpful during labour, results vary and effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.
  3. TENS must not be used by anyone with a cardiac pacemaker, cochlear implant, heart condition, or epilepsy. If you have a metal implant or any medical concerns, please seek advice from your healthcare provider before use.
  4. The TENS unit cannot be used in water and must be removed before entering a bath, shower, or birthing pool.
  5. TENS should only be used from 37 weeks of pregnancy onwards.
  6. All TENS units are cleaned, sanitised, tested, and checked before dispatch.
  7. Units must be returned by the customer in a clean condition. A $25 cleaning fee applies if the unit is returned visibly uncleaned.

Shipping & Delivery

  1. We use a next-working-day courier service - Monday to Friday. No deliveries are carried out on Saturdays and Sundays. Rural deliveries may take an additional 2–4 working days.
  2. Orders placed before 2pm are dispatched the same working day.
  3. Delivery timeframes cannot be guaranteed, as shipping is handled by a third-party courier service. Weather events, courier delays, and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery times.
  4. Customers booking close to their due date accept the risk that labour may begin before the TENS arrives. Once dispatched, refunds are not available if the unit does not arrive before labour.
  5. Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address. Natal Care Naturally is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

  6. If a parcel has not arrived as expected, customers should first contact NZ Post during standard business hours using the tracking details provided. If further assistance is needed, NatalCare Naturally will assist where possible.

  7. Natal Care Naturally cannot be held responsible for delayed or missing deliveries unless they have been notified, as they are unable to take action on parcels they are not aware have not arrived.

Hire Period, Returns & Fees

  1. A fully refundable $50 bond is required to secure your booking.
  2. Bond refunds are processed within 7 working days once the TENS unit has been returned in good working order.
  3. If the prepaid return bag is lost, customers should refer to the FAQ.
  4. Late returns incur a fee of $15 per week (or part-week), deducted from the bond.
  5. If the unit is not returned, the replacement cost of the TENS unit, plus components is invoiced to the customer. Charges apply for missing components:
  • Elle TENS $260. Elle TENS 2 $300
  • Instruction booklet: $10
  • Neck cord: $10
  • Battery: $20 each
  • Storage container: $15
  • Cable: $25 each
  1. If the TENS unit is lost or damaged while in the customer’s care, the full replacement cost will be charged.
  2. No refund is available if the customer chooses not to use the hired TENS unit.
  3. Once a TENS unit has been dispatched, the booking cannot be cancelled or refunded. If cancellation occurs before dispatch, a refund will be issued minus a $15 administration fee. The bond will be fully refunded.

Liability

  1. All TENS units are fully tested prior to dispatch. Natal Care Naturally Ltd’s liability is limited to the rental charge paid.
  2. Customers are responsible for checking the contents of the hire pack upon arrival and fully testing the unit. Any issues must be reported immediately so Natal Care can resolve them promptly. Natal Care Naturally cannot accept responsibility for issues that are not reported in a timely manner.

General

  1. By making a booking, customers agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  2. Natal Care Naturally is a New Zealand business and all prices are in NZD.
  3. “Natal Care Naturally” will appear on your credit card statement.
