I have a two-year-old daughter who I birthed using pain relief in hospital but without TENS machine (I had not heard about its benefits). During my recent pregnancy, a friend of mine recommended I hire a TENS machine to use during labour.
Two weeks ago, I birthed a beautiful 10lbs baby girl! The birth started at 2am and from my first contraction I used the TENS machine. I managed a beautiful home birth with no medical pain relief at all.
I kept the TENS machine on all time, and boosted it during every contraction. What a difference it made! Not only did it give me control being able to press the boost when contractions came and went, but the relief from the contraction pain was incredible.
I will recommend TENS to every up and coming mother. I don't know what I would have done without it. It made the world of difference and is worth every dollar to hire and more.
