Our TENS Hire Process
Hiring a Labour TENS machine from us is simple, quick, and stress-free. We’ll courier everything you need straight to your door so you can feel prepared and confident before labour begins.
Book your TENS anytime during pregnancy
You can book your TENS machine at any stage of pregnancy — whether you’re planning ahead in your second trimester or your due date is just around the corner.
The second trimester is often a great time to organise your booking, but if you’ve left it until the final weeks (or even days!) don’t panic. If you order before 2pm Monday–Friday, we can dispatch your TENS the very same day using a 'next-working-day' courier service. Deliveries are Monday to Friday.

How the booking process works
We recommend selecting a dispatch date around 23 days before your due date. This gives you time to get familiar with your TENS before labour, while our 6-week hire period allows flexibility for unpredictable baby arrivals and time for you to use the TENS for postpartum recovery.
Your return date is automatically calculated when you book.
Once you complete your online booking (which takes 2 minutes), you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Shipping & Delivery
We dispatch orders Monday–Friday by 2:30pm.
- Orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday will be sent using a 'next working day' courier service (Mon-Fri delivery).
- Orders sent on Fridays usually arrive Mondays.
- Rural deliveries take approximately 3 extra days.
For the quickest delivery and free shipping, we recommend using a non-rural address where possible.
Once your TENS is dispatched, you’ll receive an NZ Post tracking email so you can follow its journey to your door.
Click & Collect
Based in Christchurch? You’re welcome to select Click & Collect at checkout and collect your unit between 9am–12:30pm Monday–Friday.
Bond Information
A refundable $50 bond is charged when you place your booking. Once your TENS machine is returned, your bond will be refunded back to you.
If you keep your TENS for additional time, extra hire is charged at $15 per full week, which is simply deducted from your bond.
